NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from the year before.

He stated, "It's so exciting to once more see an rise in tourism to Israel from America, already reaching or surpassing our record breaking numbers of 2019". "The United States remains our largest market for Israel-bound tourism. Canada with 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 in August, is not far behind the United States.
